Season 11 of The Big Bang Theory wrapped on Thursday night with a wedding-size episode. It took a lot of people—and a lot of dresses—to pull off the event. I wrote about my feelings on filming the episode already, but here are all the images I took throughout the process. Go behind the scenes with me as I try on dresses, meet Mark Hamill, and get ready for the live taping. Click through the images below and let us know in the comments what you thought of the episode… and that dress!

Best of all, anyone who comments with a Disqus account on this post from now until 12 a.m. ET on Saturday, May 19 will be entered to win a signed BTS photo of me in the wedding dress. So to clarify, you must create an account—no comments from guest accounts will be considered. Five random winners will be selected and notified via email (so please use a real email account to sign up for your Disqus account!) on Monday, May 21. Photos can only be shipped within the U.S.

Testing Dresses

Ahead of the finale taping, I had to try on a bunch of dresses in the costume department to find “the one.”

Dress Option #2

A satin, strapless option that didn’t quite feel like Amy (but that I actually felt great in!).

Dress Option #3

This dress with lace cap sleeves felt a little more Amy Farrah Fowler, but as you saw from the final look, this dress was simply not enough.

(Almost) The One

The final dress had a pink sash and a couple other finishing touches, but this was ultimately the winner.

A Whole Lot of Dress

Amy’s final dress was actually made up of a strapless gown, a lace top, not one—but two!— capelets, a structured hoop skirt, jeweled accessories, grosgrain pink ribbon and lacy flowers.

The Capelet

The capelet was one of the elements that helped add to Amy’s eccentric style.

And the Winner Is

The final costume design with all the details added.

Put a Bow on It

The pink sash with a bow on the back completed the look.

Smoky Purple Eyes

Amy normally doesn’t wear much makeup, but Wedding Amy had hair extensions, false lashes, cheek highlighter, the works. We had so much fun in the hair and makeup room—including purple eyeshadow!

The Look

This was the finalized “Wedding Amy” makeup look after we did a trial run.

Meeting a Jedi

I was not quiet about my excitement over meeting Mark Hamill, who appeared as himself in the finale.

Final Touches

Getting my hair fixed before the live taping of “The Bow Tie Asymmetry.”

Counting Down

Jim Parsons and I goofing around with my makeup genius Linda.

The Tiara-Veil

Of course Amy would have a tiara and a veil.

Hooping It Up

Just testing out the hoop skirt and veil…as one does. This flannel shirt is one I “borrowed” from the set of Blossom.

The Ladies

Kaley Cuoco, Melissa Rauch, and I goof around on set in our wedding attire.

The Gang

The main cast members celebrating our season 11 wrap. I love these people!

The Whole Family

We tried to take a selfie with all of our guest stars, including Jerry O’Connell, Courtney Henggeler, Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus, John Ross Bowie, Kathy Bates, Mark Hamill, Wil Wheaton, and Teller. I think we got everyone in?

Everybody!

We took one final image the night of the live taping with the whole cast and crew. And that’s a wrap!
