What makes an already yummy cocktail even more delicious? When it’s made with spirits produced under female leadership and inspired by badass women.

This Spring the NoMo SoHo Hotel in NYC is running an “Inspiring Women” cocktail promotion. From monarchs to mathematicians, each of the six drinks pays tribute to females who changed modern history—and they were created by a woman. Head Bartender Megan Lazar incorporated a spirit produced under female leadership, including Master Distillers and Master Blenders, in every drink.

“Women have changed the course of modern history with tremendous strides in all fields, from politics to science, music to art,” says Lazar. “We extensively researched these six exceptionally inspiring women and we salute them with spirits crafted by women who are equally trailblazing in the drinks world.”

Best of all, Lazar has shared the recipes with us—so even if you’re not in New York, you can try these drinks and toast to history’s finest women. Click through the gallery below to see the drinks and get the recipes. (And if you’re in New York, swing by the NoMo SoHo Hotel from now until Mother’s Day to try the drinks.)
