One of the things we always hear people say about Mayim is about how down-to-earth, relatable and “real” she is. And they’re right. Those of us who know her know that although she works in Hollywood, the “Hollywood lifestyle” you see in lifestyle magazines  is not really how she lives her daily life. And those of you who know her through her TV work and through the non-TV work she’s done creating this space at GrokNation know this too. And we think it’s one of the reasons you keep coming back here. 🙂

In this vlog, Mayim decided to do something a little different. During a short work trip to New York last year, Mayim did a personal “travelogue-style” video, operating the camera herself, and writing her own monologue to accompany the footage. She shows us how she travels, when she gets fancy and how she gets “un-fancy.” She shares her visit with a close friend (who is also a GrokNation team member) and the kinds of food she eats. The result is an up-close and personal view of the Mayim that most people who know her only from TV don’t usually get to see. And needless to say, it’s a real treat.
