Nicole Charky is a journalist and producer. She works with Maria Shriver and Shriver Media as social media and video producer. She produces Architects of Change, a live, digital interview series that features conversations with changemakers who are moving humanity forward.
Nicole produced Snapchat’s dating show “Phone Swap” and Grammy award-winning artist Bekon’s “Cold As Ice” music video. She is an original member of ATTN:, where she helped grow the brand’s audience, writing and producing viral video content, licensing video and collaborating with Facebook to create best practices for live video broadcasting.
Before transitioning to video, she worked at The Los Angeles Times — getting her start in college as a community section intern and working her way up to overnight deputy editor — writing, editing and producing content with both national and international reporters and editors. Her writing and videos have been featured in Snapchat Discover channel Brother, ATTN:, The Los Angeles Times, Glamour, AOL, Patch and City News Service. Her reporting has been recognized by the Online News Association, the Los Angeles Press Club and the Society of Professional Journalists. She earned her degree in Journalism, minoring in French, from Loyola University Chicago.
