Elisabeth Becker is a cultural sociologist and writer interested in diversity, religion, family and inclusion. She has published in numerous outlets, including The Washington Post, Xo Jane, Kveller.Her memoir, On the Edge of the Worlds, is represented by Jessica Craig Literary, and traces her own Jewish-Muslim marriage in Berlin's old Jewish quarter. Her ethnography Muslim life in Europe, Unsettled Islam, is under contract with University of Chicago Press.
