Alexandra Dufresne is an American lawyer for children and refugees. She taught immigration, refugee and child law at Yale College from 2006-2015. In 2015, she moved with her family to Switzerland, where she teaches law at several Swiss institutions of higher learning and works with refugee rights’ NGOs. She is the Co-Founder of Action Together: Zürich, CH, a woman-led volunteer group of Americans and Swiss dedicated to protecting values under threat by the Trump administration. Alexandra writes frequently about law, politics, policy, teaching, activism, and life in Switzerland.
