Moving to Switzerland made me a better feminist
Living abroad allowed one woman to see how much she has benefited from feminism
Alexandra Dufresne is an American lawyer for children and refugees. She taught immigration, refugee and child law at Yale College from 2006-2015. In 2015, she moved with her family to Switzerland, where she teaches law at several Swiss institutions of higher learning and works with refugee rights’ NGOs. She is the Co-Founder of Action Together: Zürich, CH, a woman-led volunteer group of Americans and Swiss dedicated to protecting values under threat by the Trump administration.
